CARes-Hub is a research organization in Liberia committed to promoting research integrity and ethical practices. We aim to grow research and innovation, partner with institutions, and support rural voices in decision-making. Our team is diverse and experienced in research and project management. We focus on data-driven decision-making in areas like health, education, agriculture, and more. We also seek international partnerships and value entrepreneurship.

Our mission includes improving child education, community empowerment, agriculture, youth development, and career development. We prioritize cost-effective project implementation with strong community involvement. Our staff have worked with organizations like USAID, UNDP, and the private sector, bringing a wealth of experience. CARes-Hub values interpersonal relationships, reliability, quality, and modern technology to drive development work. We unite technical and functional experts to provide effective services and innovations.

About us

our experience

The CARes-Hub team have managed and implemented series of research activities including the following among others:

  • Audience Survey, Barnuseitehdeh! “Let’s do the right thing!” in six counties (Montserrado, Margibi, Grand Bassa, Rivercess, Grand Cape Mount, and Nimba), funded by Population Media Center and Talking Drum Studio in (2023) 

  • Impact Evaluation: Welthungerhilfe (WHH) and partners supported Village Savings and Loan Association (VSLA) Impact program that ended in 2023.  The study was to understand the social and economic changes that the VSLA program has engendered in targeted communities in seven counties (Bomi, Grand Cape Mount, Margibi, Grand Bassa, Rivercess, Sinoe and Grand Kru).  The sample population of the evaluation was 1000 surveys, 220 Focus Group Discussions, and 220 Key Informant Interviews with Farmer’s Savings Loan Associations and Community Savings Loan Associations (women/caregivers of children less than 5 years).

  • STAR-P Midterm Baseline Survey, in partnership with ELITE Consultancy, in the 15 counties. A key component of the study was to assess the central role women play in agriculture, societal norms, and how economic factor hurdles limit their influence and access to resources.

  • Report Writing, USAID/DELTA Community Health Assistant (CHA) Activity   Stakeholder Engagement in RiverGee, Bong, Margibi, Grand Cape Mount, and Montserrado counties).

  • Qualitative Research Interviews: To assess the relevance and appropriateness of the Talking Drum Studio/Population Media Center Radio Serial Drama program, identify key lessons and good practices, and provide actionable recommendations to improve future initiatives.

We seek to providing high quality research services to national and international organizations (public and private), and partnering with universities across the world in providing evidence data based on research findings to support discussions and decision making in response to the changing world.
