On February 6, 2025, The Consultancy and Research Hub (CARes-Hub), in partnership with Enterprise Impacts Growth (EIG), achieved a major milestone by signing a contract with the Ministry of Gender, Children, and Social Protection (MoGCSP) to conduct a Capacity Needs Assessment (CNA) under the World Bank-financed Liberia Women Empowerment Project (LWEP). This partnership reflects our continued commitment to strengthening institutions and advancing gender equality in Liberia.

Empowering Institutions for Sustainable Impact

This CNA is a key component of LWEP’s $44.6 million initiative, aimed at enhancing institutional capacity to promote gender equality and sustainable development. Over the next four months, our team will work closely with MoGCSP to assess:

✔ Institutional arrangements and operational efficiency

✔ Staff skills, performance, and training needs

✔ Human resource management, procurement, and logistics

✔ Financial management and sustainability strategies

✔ Monitoring & Evaluation frameworks for data-driven decision-making

✔ Policy development and implementation gaps

A Roadmap for the Future

The CNA will inform the development of a three-year Strategic Plan and Capacity Building Plan (CBP) to guide MoGCSP in optimizing resources, improving institutional efficiency, and driving sustainable gender-focused policies. This initiative is not just about assessment—it is about building resilience, fostering accountability, and strengthening public institutions to serve Liberian women and children more effectively.

A Commitment to Change

At CARes-Hub, we believe in evidence-based decision-making and collaborative solutions. This partnership with MoGCSP and EIG underscores our expertise in research, policy development, and institutional strengthening—ensuring that gender-focused initiatives in Liberia have a lasting and transformative impact.

We look forward to contributing to this critical national effort and reaffirm our dedication to empowering women, strengthening governance, and fostering sustainable development

Stay tuned for updates as we embark on this journey of transformation
